Resources and Links

While you wait for your materials to arrive in your inbox I wanted to give you a couple resources to check out.

  • Order Tastylia Oral Strip Top ResourcesMy resource page is filled with links to some of my most popular articles. Head on over there to learn more practical audio production tips.
  • http://allweatherfencing.com/index.html Plug-ins - Although I advocate the use of using stock plug-ins to get quality mixes in my Quick Mixing tutorial, I also use a lot of Fabfilter, Waves, Universal Audio and Plug & Mix plug-ins. You'll see them in all my videos.
  • pop over to this site Free Saturation Plug-ins - Saturation is a great way to add that something special to your mixes. If your DAW doesn't have good saturation plug-ins not to worry! There are plenty of free ones out there. Browse this guide, or this one and start adding saturation to your mixes.
  • Mixcube - I spend 80% of my time mixing in mono on a shitty Behringer Behritone mixcube. If you can make your mix sound good on that you'll be pleasantly surprised once you flip the mix over to your main monitors.

My Home Studio Setup

My home studio consists of these pieces of gear. I'm always on the lookout for an upgrade and my home studio has changed a lot in past years but this is what I'm working with for now.

Awesome job! It's easy to read, clear, concise, warm, and chocked full of tips while at the same time staying pretty accessible. You have a great writing voice. I've been buying music books since I was a kid (currently 58), and I can honestly say that's one of the more useful and helpful books I've read. Does exactly what the reader should expect it to do, and does it thoroughly but in an easy to read and engaging manner. Kudos.
