The only thing you can keep in mind is that it&#039;s sometimes a little quieter so you might need a mic with a lower noise floor, and if you need to go closer to the guitar maybe choose a small diaphragm condenser that doesn&#039;t accentuate the lower frequencies as much.]]></description>

A word of warning, too--when you&#039;re tracking with headphones, you&#039;ll be able to hear details you wouldn&#039;t normally hear. It tends to make some players--myself included--too focused on detail and gets us out of the performance zone. Dial back the volume in your cans and relax--a great performance trumps a great tone every time.]]></description>
