How Greg transformed his mixes, booked more clients and increased his income

I was feeling sorry for myself like a whiny….chump…the other day.

Although my exterior might say Bullheaded Icelandic Viking, my interior is more like a soft cuddly Furby.

What that means is that I may get into fights, but I’ll cry about it afterward.

Anyway, this self-pity didn’t stick around for too long because I received this Facebook message from Greg Williams:

“Hey brother! I have your Mixing With 5 Plug-ins book. I purchased it about 1 1/2 years ago and today I’m getting booked to mix tons of people’s tracks now! So thankful to find your stuff man!!! I’m a producer but was always having trouble getting my tracks to sound right so I would always hire someone to mix it for me and it turned out ok but never the way I wanted it to since I had a vision and I could never get it out of my head since I didn’t know the tools! Anyways man! You’ve made a world of difference in my income bro! So thankful!

That’s the sort of message that’s sure to shake you out of your stupor!

My favorite part of this message is Greg’s confidence. Because he learned the fundamentals of mixing through my Step By Step Mixing training, he gained the confidence to strike out on his own. He never got the sound he wanted from the engineers he hired so he took it upon himself to realize the vision behind his sound.

And because he knew the right tools to use, he also started booking projects with other people, increasing his income along the way.

Not too shabby of a transformation for only an investment of $7 if you ask me.
