As you might already know, I recently bought a house.

When we were looking for houses one of the biggest criteria I looked for was a space I could use as a studio.

My new home includes a renovated studio apartment with its own entrance that’s big enough to be a mixing room/overdub room and practice space for the band.

And mixing is so creative because there are so many different ways you can take the recorded tracks.

You can give them a really polished and produced sound, leave them rough and edgy or completely change them through EQ, compression and effects. What have in your hands at that point isn’t the finished product.
