A Useful Delay Trick You Should Use to Create Depth
As we’re wrapping up our Merry Mixing 101 series, today I’ll be sharing a quick delay trick that you should know about.
We’ll also go through my double-checking process to make sure that every specific element sounds good on its own while still fitting into the mix.
Check it out:
In other awesome news: The paperback version of You Get What You Give was submitted for publishing yesterday so we’re on track to release the physical version at the same time…as opposed to Step By Step Mixing where you had to wait TWO YEARS for me to finally release it on paperback…
That’ll be my Christmas present to you so stay tuned for our big announcement in the next few days.
Here’s what a fellow audio engineer had to say about the book recently:
“I’ve read several books on business and audio engineering, but none of them grabbed me the way that You Get What You Give did. It’s welcoming and inviting, packing with useful information and peppered with music and pop culture references that make it feel real and relevant in a way that no other book has. The chapter on Imposter Syndrome was especially helpful, and motivated me to make some serious changes in my life. Plus, I’m a sucker for a Battlestar Galactica reference ;)” -Brad
See you tomorrow for our final part of our Merry Mixing 101 series!
