An Introduction On Using Reverb to Add Space to Your Mix

Like I told you in yesterday’s post, you can only get so far in a mix without adding some space to flesh it out.

EQ and compression will make everything really tight and separated on the two-dimensional plane but to really add some extra reverb and delay.

So continuing on down the five plug-ins I think are the most powerful to get a great mix we’ll move onto reverb next.

Check out the introduction to reverb for some advice on using reverb in your next mix.

In the later part of this video we also touch keyboard sounds more interesting.

It’ll all be included in the Mixing With 5 Plug-ins course that opens up tomorrow.

The final plug-in in the five plug-in series is saturation and tomorrow I’ll be giving you a tip I’ve been using to tame harsh sounding electric guitars.

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s email!
