Gary Ross wrote and directed the movie Ocean’s 8. It’s the Ocean’s movie with eight strong female leads, and definitely worth the watch.
In 1994 he wrote the screenplay to Lassie, arguably one of our culture’s most cherished canine heroines.
You don’t know where people will end up. You’re only meeting them at a point in time. Twenty years later, just imagine how much you can create.
Past work does not dictate future pursuits.
Past performance is no guarantee of future results.
Past enjoyment does not solidify future styles.
Who you were will not decide who you become.
Diverse experiences will create diverse opportunities. If you ever only work in one style of music, you might be limiting your future opportunities.
If you don’t want to learn how to EQ an acoustic guitar because you only work in hip-hop, you’re closing the door on what your future self can achieve.

Regardless of what style you work in, you need to know how to use EQ. There’s no getting around it if you want to have any success with understanding how to mix your songs.
