How else are you going to justify putting all those sleigh bells as percussion! And on a side note, it doesn’t matter what the song is like; if you put sleigh bells on it then it’s a Christmas song. Pure and Simple.
Christmas Time – Smashing Pumpkins
Christmas does not start before I play this song. Sleigh bells galore!
Sufjan Stevens – O Come starter nfl jackets O Come Emmanuel
This folky rendition of this age old psalm is a perfect example of how you can take something ancient and make it modern. The choir version is also amazing and highly recommended.
Last Christmas – Wham
No Christmas is complete without this song. It’s the best time to be gay and merry, however you swing it.
Blue Christmas – Elvis Presley
He might have been fat and drunk at this point in this career but whatever, Elvis was still the king of Christmas.
Happy Xmas(War is Over) – John Lennon
There is no wonder that the best songwriter in the world wrote one of the best Christmas songs of all time.
