Struggling
Usually I write about how you can improve your productions.
Today, I’m just going to write about me. You might get something out of it though.
It’s been a rough six weeks. With everyone that’s been going on I’ve been spread so thin it’s been hard to really focus on one thing.
That’s why I haven’t been writing as much. I’ve simply been too busy doing all the other thousand things on my plate.
But there’s a light at the end of all this busywork.
It’s called January.
My studies will be finished. I’ll be graduated and I won’t have bull$s#!t courses to deal with anymore. Instead of taking business and economics courses all the time I can actually focus on business.
And that’s why I’m eagerly awaiting January. The period with enough time to get things going and start something spectacular.
In the meantime I’m trying to get by with the bare minimum and I really wouldn’t anyone. Spreading yourself too thin or learning too many things at the same time simply isn’t healthy.
You’ll start struggling with the easy parts because you can’t really focus on solving the hard parts. And when everything just hangs there unsolved you’ll slowly go crazy.
Instead, make a game plan. Take today as an example. I have this really hard assignment I need to do and instead of twiddling my thumbs and getting nowhere I’m up at 6 am telling you all about how I’m gonna go and knock it out of the park.
I have a fun weekend ahead of me if only I can get over this big project. I’m focusing all of my energy on this one thing because I know if that gets finished I can breathe a sigh of relief.
It’ll be one more project done and I’m that much closer to January.
What big issues are you dealing with that stop you from improving your productions? January isn’t just a mirage in the distance for me. It’s a reward for all of my hard work.
What’s your reward for learning something new or overcoming struggle?
