Get the Feedback and Accountability You Need to Release Your Songs

This week I’m proud to take in new Insiders members to our awesome community of musicians, engineers, and producers.

If you don’t know what you get as an Insider, check out the details here.

I understand that there’s a LOT of content inside the membership. You may not know where to start and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed immediately.

But don’t worry, I’ve got you.

As soon as you become a member, you’ll get an email from me to schedule an Action Call so we can immediately dive into what you need to know.

In these 20-minute, 1-on-1 calls you’ll tell me exactly what you’re struggling with, what your goals are, and what you’re looking to achieve.

Then I’ll give you a personal path to follow through the Insiders community so that you can get results fast.

This way, I can make sure you stay on track to reach your goals and you’ll feel accountable to actually release your music in the next 30-60 days.

This is exactly what I did for a former Insider, David, who releases music as The Last Visible Dog.

He told me he had a huge amount of material and although he had shared his songs with friends, he had never officially released anything. He was squarely stuck in the Shadow Stage with his songs.

And get this, he sent me a demo of one of his songs and I was absolutely blown away!

If he was stuck getting his stuff out there, and his songs were THIS GOOD, then I knew I had to help him out.

So I gave him feedback on his mix (it was a little harsh in the high-mids), but more importantly, I gave him a deadline of 30 days to finish and release his record.

The song in question was Fables (check it out on Spotify here), and just try to tell me that it wasn’t worth being released!

Imagine: He sat on this song forever because he didn’t think it was good enough. If I could write songs like that I’d be releasing them every day!

He emailed me recently, telling me,

“I really appreciate your encouragement and support. It gave me a tremendous boost in my inspiration to release it….Thank you again for being kind enough to get that feedback for me I was able to apply all the feedback you gave on the video replay, submitted Fables and one other song to CD baby a few days ago….just waiting for their inspection process to be done. So I hit the may 1st challenge mark! Yay! Thank you for challenging me.”

If you can relate to David’s story in any way…if you have songs that you think are good but aren’t sure about releasing…and need to be challenged with some friendly encouragement and accountability, come join us in the Insiders community where we’ll help you select the right songs to release, give you constructive feedback to finish your mixes, and help you proudly promote your records.

Click here to join Insiders before it closes the doors again on Friday.

See you on the inside,

Björgvin

P.S.

I will happily admit that David took a break from Insiders after his accomplishment, and that’s fine with me. Of course, I’d love for everyone to stay as long as they can, but this isn’t one of those memberships where you have to jump through rings of fire to cancel your account. You’re not a number on a spreadsheet to me. You’re an artist and I want to help you get to the next level by giving you the confidence you need to succeed.

The metric isn’t money. It’s music. If you have music you want to release, join Insiders and we’ll help you out.
